According to PANews, Polygon recently announced on Twitter that its zkEVM mainnet Beta version experienced an issue with its sequencer due to an L1 reorganization. The team is currently working to resolve the problem and will provide a detailed post-mortem analysis report. This incident only affects the Polygon zkEVM (rollup) and does not impact Polygon PoS, Polygon CDK, or any chains deployed using the Polygon CDK. Furthermore, the team plans to release the second generation of zkEVM in the coming weeks.
