According to Foresight News, OP Labs has announced the launch of an open-source fault proof on the OP Sepolia testnet. The system supports a Bond mechanism with compatible incentives and permissionless verification, allowing anyone to participate in the system without requiring permission. The ultimate goal of the fault proof system in OP Stack is to achieve multiple proofs and end the reliance on security committees or multi-signatures for L2.
