PANews 3月18日消息，WorldCoin在官方博客中表示，该项目在其提供服务的所有地点均合法运营，其设计完全符合管理数据收集和数据传输的所有法律和法规，包括欧洲的通用数据保护条例 (“GDPR”) 和阿根廷的个人数据保护法25.326 (Ley de Protección de los Datos Personales) 等。在欧盟，该项目还受到巴伐利亚州数据保护监督办公室 (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutz) 的监督。 WorldCoin还表示，旗下基金会正在大力开源，提供对该项目所有关键组件的完全可见性和访问权限，但绝不会购买、出售或交易虹膜生物识别数据。
