The upgrade and hard fork, scheduled for epoch 269,568, or an estimated time of 13:55 UTC on March 13, 2024, are integral to Ethereum's continued advancement.
To facilitate this crucial update and maintain optimal user experience, Binance will briefly suspend the deposits and withdrawals of tokens on various networks linked to the Ethereum ecosystem. These include Ethereum (ETH), Arbitrum (ARB), Optimism (OP), zkSync Era, Base Protocol (BASE), Manta Network (MANTA), Starknet (STRK), and Polygon (MATIC).
Deposits and withdrawals will be temporarily halted starting at approximately 13:25 (UTC) on March 13, 2024. The necessary adjustments plan to safeguard users' funds during the upgrade process and ensure minimal disruption of exchange activities.
